Description
1010 XL is Jacksonville's "live and local" choice for Sports Radio and the radio flagship for the Jaguars.
Weekday mornings start at 6:00 with Dan Hicken and Jeff Prosser on "The Drill" followed by “Jaguars Today” live from Everbank Field between 10AM and noon. “XL Primetime” with Joe C, Hacker and T-Wigg follows from noon-3PM and "The Frank Frangie Show with Rick Ballouu,” Brent Martineau and Jessica Blaylock drives you home from 4-7.
Add in ESPN Radio, UGA Football, local high school football, JU & UNF sports and it's easy to see why 1010XL OWNs sports radio on the First Coast.

I was traveling from Virginia back to Florida. I tried to get the game but heard the “review” of different games. I guess it was my location. When I did finally get the game broadcast it was after the game. I guess that is an NFL thing that I could not get the transmission- could you confirm what the range of coverage is? Is there a limit of how far away you can be and still get the actual broadcast? It was great to get the postgame coverage!
Obnoxious Ads
I love being able to catch up with shows and it is fair to play an ad before starting. I get it. Modernization. But the game ads that go on forever are annoying and worse, the dumbest feature ever, is when you pause the podcast it plays an ad. If I hit cause I want the noise to stop. I often listen while I'm at work or doing chores around the house and if someone needs to speak to me I paused because I need the dang sound to stop. Not because I want to hear an ad. So then I just have to close out the app completely. A lot of times it is so annoying I just don't return. I don't understand developers who don't understand what pause. It's not that difficult.
Excellent local sports station
My wife and I enjoy your station. We left political talk radio 3 years ago, and found 1010XL to be a fantastic alternative. This is the only station in Jacksonville that we Liston to.
My wife enjoys helmets and heels new time period…..personally Im pleased with the 2 hour formats……and I really enjoy Leon Searcy. He keeps things in perspective as a former player. He opions count with me.
