Good app!

I’m using 10K Trainer Pro because it has C25K and B210K together in one app so I’m not having to switch apps after I finish C25K and move onto B210K. I like this app a lot. I am almost done with week 4, and I’ve gone from not being able to run a mile to being able to run a mile in 10 minutes and 28 seconds. I look forward to being able to do a full 5K soon and then moving onto training to run 10K!

No Stats, No Map, No Native Watch App, Poor Audio Cues

10K Trainer Pro is a disappointment. There are no section stat breakdowns, including pace. It does not support heart rate tracking. There is no map support to show a route I took on a particular day and no indication of change in elevation. There is no native Apple Watch application; I can't use this app and run without my iPhone. I cannot start my workout from the Apple Watch and if I have my Apple Watch alerts on, I do not get audio cues, even with my ringer turned on. I have previously used Bluefin's Ease Into 5K, which does not have Apple Watch support but does have all of the other features I would expect from a "Pro" application. Considering I have to run with my iPhone, I will probably go back to using a BlueFin application.

If all you want is cues for the time to switch from walk to run, get one of the free apps. There is no reason to pay for "Pro" when it has no pro features.

It works well.

I needed help getting back into running and this app helped me a lot. I do two runs a day, a Week 1 run to warm up and then a week 5, 6, or 7, run. I customize program to my ability and made it to week 12 but then had some personal stuff going on that stopped my running for a month or two. Getting back on program I didn’t want to restart so I’m doing a Week 1 run + Another Week 5 to 8 run back to back. It’s working great. This is a useful app if you want to get back into shape and don’t know where to start; however if you need to repeat weeks bc they’re too difficult then do so until your confident you can move on to the next week.
