A tool for people with life-changing persistent pain & those who love them. Start where you are. Set your own goals. Take back your life - one step at a time.
Chronic pain shrinks your world until just lying in bed hurts. 1step2life empowers you to break the cycle by setting weekly goals and logging your mood, functioning, & pain.
Everyone’s pain is different. Add your own goals: exercises from your physical therapist, finishing your homework, going on a date, building experience points in Minecraft. Whatever is important to you.
Track progress with just a touch: I ate with the family, texted a friend, washed my hair, or got to school on time. It’s there. Record and celebrate the things other people take for granted.
Track your mood to see how it changes with activities. And yes, you can track your pain. Set 1step2life to log pain daily, every few days, weekly, or never. You’re in control.
-Patient & Caregiver modes.
-The caregiver log supports effective coaching by helping you see the whole person, not just pain.
-Visualize the relationship between mood, pain, and functioning and download your data.
-Default dark mode for light sensitive eyes.
-We respect your privacy. The accounts of family members, caregivers, and those living with pain are completely separate. We know that for you to take control of your life you need to be honest with yourself. Privacy is essential to that process.
Based on cutting edge rehabilitation and development science, 1step2life helps you focus on what you do, not what you can’t.

Great for moms of kids in pain
In just a week, the app has helped me refocus on what my son can do. I really like the focus on positive parenting. When your child is in pain it’s really easy to both step in too fast and do everything for them and nag them constantly about meds and exercise. This really helps.
With Family Share, I can keep record for myself and the app lets them really focus on self-care. So it’s been good for both of us.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
