Description

This is the annual Statewide Parental Involvement Conference. This year’s theme, “Be a Light,” reinforces the belief that together we can break down barriers, achieve greater results, and make a difference in the life of our most precious resource...our children.

Hosted by the Title I, Part A Parent and Family Engagement Statewide Initiative at Region 16 Education Service Center, and supported by Region 10 Education Service Center and surrounding school districts. The conference provides opportunities for educators, parents, and community leaders to learn strategies for empowering all stakeholders to increase student achievement and to meet the required federal and state mandates for family and community engagement.

The conference will showcase nationally known speakers and breakout sessions by top parental involvement practitioners from around the state. Featured sessions will motivate and inspire participants to create a better tomorrow for the children in the great state of Texas. Additionally, there will be numerous exhibitors and booths with representatives from national and community parental involvement programs.
