"This is solid, old-school tower defense design where each and every map will cause you to sit back and think about what the best strategy might be." - Touch Arcade (App of the week)

"2112TD takes the classic, Westwood RTS art-style and matches it up with TD, and it turns out that it fits really, really well." - Pocket Gamer (Games of the week)

Set 100 years in the future, battle inter-dimensional flesh spawn across the solar system and defend Earth's colonies from complete annihilation.

The pace is steady, but the stakes are high as the relentless hordes amass in an effort to overrun your mobile command center.

Unlike traditional TD games, you will be relying heavily on micro-managing dynamic action-based abilities. As you progress deeper into the campaign airstrikes, charged attacks, fortification walls and the tactical drone will become increasingly vital and deploying them strategically will be paramount.

Mistakes won’t go unpunished so stay frosty, learn from your blunders and endure to fight another day. Without pain there can be no gain!

2112TD’s artistic style is founded on the nostalgia of the RTS golden era, paying homage to games like Command and Conquer and StarCraft.

The battlefield is an unforgiving landscape and every second counts. Beginners will find forgiveness on normal mode while veterans will be drawn to the brutal challenge of hard. When you’re ready it’s time to put your skills to the test in survival. How long can you hold back the hordes?

Deploy the machine gun, flame thrower, artillery and plasma turrets to destroy your foes. Upgrade your towers to their experimental stages packing serious firepower and charged attacks.

When the situation gets too hairy you’ll be relying on air support. The airstrike and tactical drone deliver the big BOOM as well as defensive abilities.

Earth’s egg heads are working tirelessly to gain the upper hand against the new enemy. Unlock new abilities and weapons as you progress.

They call it the soldier’s dictionary. The tactical database gathers data on the battlefield about your arsenal and enemies alike. Be sure to check it often as it will be critical to your triumph against the hordes.

What are you waiting for commander? The flesh spawn must be eradicated!

Nice TD game with some new twists

really enjoyable TD game. “Missing” time multipliers and cant zoom out to see whole map, but it’s part of the gameplay, I think. Need to keep an eye on special attacks and fortifications for timing so the x2/x4 multiplier would make that nigh impossible. Monsters are a tad small (graphically) on a phone device, but attacks and types vary and enjoy the interesting tower mixes needed to successfully fend them off.

Definitely not a game where you get an OP tower and just rely on that to wipe everything. Need to carefully consider the pros and cons of each tower type (and advanced branches) to ensure a win.

Fun but not quite satisfying. Needs tuning.

Normal Mode was fun and rewarding to beat though short. Hard mode was very challenging and I was unable to find way to beat the last few levels.

Cash is in such short supply that you never really get to build towers in most spots even in hard mode. Survival mode seems broken as the onslaught of enemy combos is immediate so that you never get enough cash to build more than a handful of towers. The onslaught also ramps up much too quickly so there is not enough time to earn the money needed to have sufficiently enough upgraded towers to survive more than a few waves. The waves are much stronger than “hard” mode which seems to be missing the point.

Survival mode should be an opportunity to keep the game going after it would have ended in normal or hard mode so you can really see a lot of carnage on the screen. The secret to doing that is balancing the size of the waves with the money so it’s not too hard or too easy. At the moment, you have more ability to build and upgrade in hard mode because it’s survivable for more than 5-6 waves.

Hi V3rbatim - Thank you for providing such detailed feedback on your experience. This means a lot to our team. Hard mode and survival are tough by design but getting past the first 10 waves in survival mode shouldn't be too painful. Your support abilities, especially the tactical drone are very important on these modes so be sure to use them strategically. Same for the tower charged attacks. We've just recently started our 2112TD boot camp videos to help new players which you can view on the Refinery Productions Youtube channel -

Boot camp will be integrated with the game itself in the future.

Short lived excitement :: update

Update to the update: normal a lot better, now you all need more experience point levels & a 2nd tier of unit upgrades, no way mining facility through end of game be even close to possible on “hard”. Also, majority of levels game don’t last very long on “endless”, even before the update.

This was on its way to be a great TD game. It has two shortcomings, 1.) the “upgrades” you get with tech points are an insult to be called that. 2.) 6th stage (mining colony), game becomes absolutely impossible, even on “normal” setting. I have tried more than dozen different ways to start it out, all end in being crushed. I’m not asking for things to be easy, but this is insane.

Hi Izademas, we've just released an update focused on improving the balancing of some maps including the Asteroid Mining Facilities. Keep us posted with how you get on.

Good luck Commander!
