Note for 2011-2013 iMac models on Mojave and High Sierra:
At this time the app may show glitches in the wallpaper on 2011-2013 iMac models with NVIDIA graphics cards. If you experience this issue please contact us.
The wallpapers in this app are still and change throughout the day to match the time at your current location. If you are looking for motion wallpapers that visually move please see our other apps Magic Window, Magic Window 4K, and Magic Flowers.
Locations include: Mojave Preserve, Yosemite, Joshua Tree, High Sierras, Grand Canyon, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Malibu, New York, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Sydney, Auckland, Lake Taupo, Iceland, Phuket, and more. Also includes three special painted wallpapers by Waterlogue.
This new app from the creators of Magic Window took more than seven years to create. All images in the app are professionally captured by the Magic Window team specifically for the app and are mastered to perfection.
All wallpapers are available at full 5K resolution (5120x2880). The app will allow you to download the wallpaper at the resolution most appropriate for your displays including 4K (4096x2304), 3K (2880x1800), and HD/2K (1920x1200). This means no space wasted on pixels you don't need.
Half of the wallpapers included are from a fixed viewpoint - you get the exact same view changing to match the time of day. To achieve this we setup and manage a professional camera for 24+ hours at the same location. For the scene to work the weather and light has to be just right for 24 hours.
The other half are mixes where the view changes but the location generally remains the same. To create these we put together several time lapse sequences and still images to build a narrative wallpaper sequence that feels like spending a day exploring the location.
By default the app will use the time of day at your location. However you can customize sunrise and sunset times and durations to your liking or have it synchronize with another location. This is helpful if you work on non-standard hours.
Unlike the Magic Window series of apps the wallpapers in this app are still images set as system wallpaper. There is no visible motion which means no battery drain, no CPU drain, no GPU drain, and no interference with other applications. The wallpaper works with all facets of macOS including Mission Control, Spaces, Expose, and the login/lock screen.
Internet access is required to download scenes. The app includes only low-resolution previews by default. Without internet access to download scenes resolution is limited to 1920x1200.
This is a premium product that took care and dedication to build. You will not find anything else like it anywhere. The app is exclusively for Mac and optimized for all Mac displays. If you have any issues with the app please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we are happy to help you resolve them.

Ratings and Reviews
They've done the hard work so you don't have to.
Just as the title suggests, this app is a collection of MacOS Mojave insipred 24 hour wallpapers.
Sure, there are plenty of sites that provide information on how to create these yourself and with a good camera, good scenery and patience, you can probably take a bunch of pictures of your favorite scenery and compile a 24 hour wallpaper yourself.
But, while I do have the interest and technical know-how, i doubt i can do as good a job as the folks at Jetson Creative. I'm a developer myself (mostly enterprise applications and backend stuff) and I consider it 'money well spent' supporting other developers.
tl, dr; You got Mojave? You like 24 hour wallpaper and want more than just the stock image Apple provides? Buy this. It's not expensive and you'll be supporting good developers.
Software is great. Pictures are... meh.
The title says most of what I want to say, but to elaborate - yes, I think the software is well-implemented, and it's nice to have the option to use the system's dynamic desktop engine (I fail to see how this uses more system resources than the app though).
But the quality of the photos, in terms of what they chose to photograph, how they framed it, and the quality of the equipment they used, results some hit and a lot of miss to me. Put another way, the pictures don't "pop" from the screen like most of the static wallpapers I usually end up using. I have a 5K display, and in most pictures there is very noticeable edge softness (though the center is sharp - i.e. spherical aberration). More than most pictures. This probably wouldn't be as noticeable on a non-retina screen. Anyway, I couldn't find any pictures that worked for me, so I don't use the app. My rating would go up if they had more quality material.
Just right for Dynamic Desktop
I got to know 24 Hour Wallpaper through their free give-away NYC Dynamic Wallpaper. It worked perfectly and I really liked it. Next I read their app can use the macOS Dynamic Desktop engine, which took my interest as I prefer to refrain from installing perstistent third party tools running in the background. I ended up buying their app because I feel the developer did the right thing when Apple released Dynamic Desktop: they sought publicity by giving away free pictures (something Apple didn't do) and they changed their app so people could use the Apple engine as well as theirs. Fantastic! Hope to see plenty new pictures in the future!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
