2Remember 4+

I like the way it hides offscreen showing only a clear tab. Put a cursor over the tab and my list slides onscreen. Double-click on an item and it pops up with as much space as I want to describe it or keep what I've done so far on it.

I bought this app for two features and both have not worked how I needed then to work for me.

1. The ability to move tasks up and down on the task list. This feature is implied by the up and down arrows on the footer of the task list. Other task software seems to only let you modify a list by due date or if you can modify manually they don't have the nice feature of a quick glance on the desktop like 2Remeber does -- so I was excited to see what looked liked the ability to manually order the task list. To be fair, there is no where on the App store on the author's web site that says the arrows allow you to move the task up and down -- but both the description on the App store and the author's web site is sparse -- this should have told me something. But, that is what you should expect from the visual -- and in fact the arrows don't seem to do anything.

2. The docking feature. I liked the way it looks in the photos where I can dock the list at the side of the screen and it hides away until I want to open it again. My problem is I have three monitors and it will only dock at the left edge of the first screen and right edge of the third screen -- not to the right or left edge of my middle screen where I want it. I have other software that hides like this and they doc at the edges of the middle screen.

Hopefully in future updates these issues may be address. I took a chance at an early version of the software and it didn't work out for me.

This tab only appears on the screen where you initially dragged it. If you use mission control to switch to different spaces, you have to remember which "space" has the tab. That's a deal breaker for me. I have other apps (such as SnagIt) that have the tab at the edge of the screen on each of my spaces, and that's important. If you don't use multiple spaces, then I guess it won't be an issue for you. But for me, it's a huge issue. I want to be able to view my tasks in 2remember from any screen I'm viewing. This is how I stay on top of things. If I have to remember which space I have the 2Remember tab, it becomes less that useful for me.
