Great, but...

This premise seems really interesting, and I like the puzzles. The only thing it needs fixed is the controls. It uses up/down/right/left and WSDA, but the routs Dusty has to take are often diagonal. This could be fixed by allowing the mouse to choose direction, like in LoL or The Sims, and then he finds his way there. Also, the game defaults for attack and dodge trigger the default (therefore probably most common) MacOS controls (control + left/right changes the desktop, something else opened Spotlight, opened Siri, etc.) which really gets in the way of game play! It makes it fustrating and almost impossible to fight the Nightmare tentacles. I’ve tried changing the game-specific controls but everything seems to trigger something. The audio and visual experience is absolutely remarkable. The devs clearly put a lot of time and energy into this game and I hope fixes for those issues come out soon so that I can what is close to being a marvelous game!

Hard to play without a game controller

Using the keyboard is very difficult with this game. Why can I not hook up a game controller to my Mac Mini?
Even the Apple game controller won’t work on the mini. There’s no excuse for that.
It’s a shame, the game is good.

Definitely fun

Definitely fun game. Playing with just keyboard, don’t see anyway of playing with mouse. Given the game-style, I don’t think mouse would work well. To the reviewer whom mac switches spaces, it’s not fair you are downrating this game because of an macOS setting that you specifically and personally have. Just an FYI on your mac go to preferences => keyboard => shortcuts table, and probably under mission control you have your keys set there. Either undefined them (double click the key) or in your game, change the controls there.

I’ll update review as I go along the game, but so far very fun, cool story.
