波打ち際に流れ着いた小瓶を拾うと、
中には見知らぬ誰かからの短い手紙が入っていました。
404の海（Ocean404）は、iPhone / iPad のSafariで見つからなかったページ（404ページ）を、ドット絵風の小さな海辺に変えるSafari拡張アプリです。
通常の404ページは、目的のページにたどり着けなかったことを知らせるだけの画面です。
でも404の海を有効にすると、その行き止まりが、誰かの言葉に出会える静かな寄り道に変わります。
海辺には、どこかの誰かが流した瓶が届くことがあります。
瓶の中には、何気ないひとこと、少しやさしい言葉、ちょっと不思議なメッセージが入っているかもしれません。
あなたも、砂浜の封筒から短い手紙を海へ流すことができます。
書いた言葉は、いつか別の誰かが404ページに出会った時、瓶の中の手紙として届くかもしれません。
