Business account review

I’ve been very pleased with my business accounts at 5 point credit union. The management has been extremely kind and accommodating with any of my banking issues. I highly recommend this credit union.

Bill Pay is so slooooooow to load in app

I’ve been a member of 5 Point for 20+ years and a user of the app as soon as it came online. There must have been an update or change to a different OLB platform because Bill Pay used to be quickly responsive, but now it takes a very long time to load in app. Annoying for the individual who counts on the convenience of OLB to manage banking tasks quickly.

Side note about the institution itself. Again, I’ve been a member for 20+ years and generally been very happy with them, but last month they did call to tell me that I underpaid my mortgage that month by 22 CENTS and there would be a $28 late fee for that. Really??? I pushed back and eacalated up the ladder until it was waived, but come on people - look at member’s history before you make silly statements like that that can cost you a membership.

Check depositing

Since the app has been updated everytime I deposit a check it does not show up in my accounts. The check will be accepted and the money in my checking will remain unchanged. I have to transfer money to my savings in order for it to change or sometimes it doesn’t even show any accounts eligible for transfer so that I can have it change. When I call 5 point to ask why my check isn’t depositing when it has been accepted, they tell me the money is in my account and then I’ll check the app again and it’ll show up
