Been a fan of the show since 19, so when my buddy showed me there was a mobile game had to see what was up. Now the core gameplay is very solid with great graphics for it being mobile, and it plays a lot like the actual console version (for better or worse lol). Before the first patch the gameplay was riddled with bugs, which have mostly been fixed which is a great sign, however some issues still exist with lag, freezing (H2H), and the swing analysis. Before the patch it was completely broken, now I swear sometimes the swing feedback is wrong, at least from the result. The content is great, xp path, seasons are a little drawn out but cool, and trophies are surprisingly fun to grind, but can definitely use a wheel or reward system after finishing the base paths, as getting moments with xp rewards are literally useless with a month left of the path. Lots of potential in this game, love to see it prosper as i don’t see a lot of mlb the show fans talking about it, over time if some issues are fixed i think it could truly be great

The game has been fun so far, but there is more things that would make this game far greater than it is now. First off there needs to be live multiplayer pvp games and they need to be 9 innings long like a real baseball game in my opinion. This will make the game more realistic to the console version. Also if there is any possible way to add where you can add friends and play against them that would add more things to do in the game. If this is possible at all please consider it. Also if you all could add full regular season play that would be cool also.

Game is as close as it gets to the console version but for your phone. Animations, Swings, Pitching styles, Cards, Market etc. I could keep going down the list but the game has proven to be a must have for any fan of MLB or The Show. If you ever grew up playing Madden Mobile and remember how great of a game that was with the auction house, throwback and active player cards, and the competitive addicting gameplay well this game is for you. There are minor hiccups with the game but for me on my iPhone 11 I have extremely smooth gameplay for the most part and don’t see anything major to make me question if it’s unplayable. I hope to see this game grow with the community and be something special

Avid show fan since before it was even called the show. Have given this a go as it’s easier to play on the go and having kids. But some suggestions and hopes for future. Add XP wheel like console has to keep insinuating players to play. Look at doing same thing for trophies. I am capped on trophies and XP and right now I don’t even want to play moments head to head or seasons cause my rewards are useless now. Overall I love it and spent more than I would want. But some additions for people to keep grinding so this game doesn’t die would be nice.
General:
- Multiple crashes addressed to improve app stability.
- Users will no longer have their account blocked by a challenge error loop when starting the app.
- Fixed a bug where users could get stuck in a loop in the PXP and shop tutorial.
- Adjusted the amount of PXP required to advance the PXP tutorial.
- Subbing players will now only show hitters or pitchers depending on the position of the player subbed in the menus.
- The user is now returned to the reward path after purchasing Show Pass premium
- The Show Pass will now immediately update after claiming XP rewards in the Player Rank menu.
- The home screen rank should now show a user’s correct Player Rank.
-User’s banner should now correctly fill the team’s background space on the post-game screen.
- Fixed a visual bug where the wrong player model could show when batting.
Head 2 Head:
- Fixed an issue with notifications not being sent when nudging an opponent to play their game.
- Added new sound effects and a new animation when nudging an opponent
- Opponent's username is now displayed during the H2H flow
Gameplay:
- Fixed an issue where users could not immediately select a pitch at the start of a play.
- Fixed a bug where some foul balls could advance the baserunners or award runs
Seasons:
- Fixed a bug where planes could be permanently lost when sent out for activities, regions, or to sim games.
- Adjusted the logic when simulating a game to balance win rate for higher OVR teams
- Active timers are now displayed on the activity tile in cities with multiple activities
Sounds Effects:
- Sound effects were added when holding to confirm a purchase in the marketplace.
- Sound effects were added when purchasing a card in the marketplace.
- Sound effects were added for swapping between team uniform and color combinations.
- A sound effect is now played when pressing continue to enter a loaded moment
- Swapping tabs on the navigation bar now has an accompanying sound effect
