Stop lock out shut down
The newest upgrade shuts down if phone goes dark after a few minutes. This is annoying if working out or running around and want to listen on the go. I shouldn’t have to keep touching the screen every few minutes.
Problem With Opening The App
Is anyone having trouble opening the app. I reloaded the app but just get a "retrieving latest content" and the app never opens. It was working in the morning. I'm using an iPhone. Thanks. They should have an app status available to see if their system is down. Maybe a bug that will be updated in the next update.
PROBLEM SOLVED: Deleted the app and waited about 8 hours to reinstall the app again. Everything is working now. Give it a try if you are having the same problem.
Good station. Terrible stream
Always loved WABC but the live stream online or in the app is impossible to listen to.
The app is realy bug, crashes a lot and subjects you children's app game commercials before you can listen to the show.
As soons as you start the ap you are subjected to no less that 3 minutes of commercials. When it goes live chances are good they are in another break for a few more minutes. It can be almost 10 minutes sometimes before you can hear the show.
And there are too many commercials. The same ones over and over and over. The same lame promos over and over.
If they had fresh commercials that would make it ore tolerable.
I don't think anyone who works ther actually uses the app.
