Not useful for me/my area

I don’t know if it’s because it’s a new app or if it just really isn’t that great. No matter what category I end up rolling I click on “I’m hangry” and it doesn’t even show food near me. The closest restaurant is usually 100mi away or more. I checked to make sure I’m sharing my location and it knows where I am. Also no matter what food type/category I land on it shows all the exact same restaurants every single time. Will not be using until this is fixed.EDIT: Changed to four stars because it’s still not useful to me but their customer service is really great

Hi Andrew - We’re only a small team of 3 people running the NYC & LA area. It sounds like you're not in those areas, but we’re expanding soon so we can add your city to the list of places we'll expand to next! We are only in BETA. Your 1-star review really hurts our chance at success, and we're just trying our best 🙏 I hope you'll reconsider the 1-star rating and invite you to email me directly if you have any other feedback: steve@8itapp.com

The app is very interesting, I’m always looking for new places to enjoy and with this app I’m hoping to find some. My only disappointment is that it’s new and doesn’t cover a lot of New Jersey. I’ve seen some but they mostly are NYC. I’ll give it some time to build up the numbers. The concept is really great for a foodie like me. Good luck in future.

I was in NYC visiting my family and I somehow became the one deciding where we were going to eat! Hit a couple incredible pop-ups and had some amazing Serbian food… never thought of eating Serbian food in my life before this app. So fun to navigate NYC like a pro during a visit. Definitely stoked on this app. Wish it was in my city. 😭 Will for sure use it when I head to LA in the winter too
