Great customer service
I had a problem with my account credit. Emailed their support, they responded in 2 minutes. 5 minutes later my account credit was issued and I was able to order food. Super fast support.
Inappropriate Behavior Towards Vendors
*San Diego* I downloaded the app because of the $10 off pick orders promo they’ve been running on instagram. When I arrived at the restaurant to pick up my order the manager told me that the iPad provided by Forkspot was not working and there was another issue with my order. When she called customer service for help she said that the conversation ended with the dispatcher calling her a “F-ing B” and an “F-ing Idiot”. I then noticed that I had a missed call from their dispatch team asking if I was willing to pay a small up charge to correct the order (I ordered bacon which was extra). I called back and said that I was willing to pay the upcharge but that I would like to cancel the order all together because the woman at the restaurant said that you spoke to her inappropriately. The dispatcher didn’t deny the claim he just said “ok thank you”. All in all it was a huge waste of everyone’s time and my gas. Funny enough though when I was leaving to pick up my order I told a member of my family who was offered an iPad to receive orders from Forkspot about the $10-off deal and, she said she couldn’t get the iPad to work but that she’ll work on getting it up on Monday so she can receive orders. Now she’s returning it.
Use a different company
There’s so many better companies in this area of ordering food, this app is old news for the industry and works very poorly.
Here’s my experience, walked pass this pizza shop and wanted to get some pizza (only make sense) but wait, I saw this advertisement about this app claims they get discounts, so I go to the App Store and download the app, find the restaurant and place my order with a 5% discount.
So far so good.
Walked back in the to the pizza shop and talked with the front desk girl (lovely conversation) and then turns out I paid double, yes I paid DOUBLE on my pizza through the app!! That doesn’t make any sense!
I called customer service and a shady person says he’ll check the rate with the restaurant and will get back to me in 30 minutes. (I kinda expected them to just say sorry with a small refund or credit for next time)
He calls back and says this isn’t there problem because the restaurant offers a discount, but isn’t that the all idea of this app? Or part of the idea? And also if this isn’t the app, why don’t you just say sorry and offer me a small credit that you offer anyways on your website?
But either way I just feel like this guys are out of place and don’t read the vibe of customers.
Over just use a different app like UberEats it doordash or any other company that I used many times before and worked very well.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
