A Day in the Life 12+

This game was very accurate to my personal experiences. I replayed a few times, choosing different options and they all somehow seem to match with some difficulties I struggle with everyday. It’s honestly ironic how it talks about being restless unable to sleep and here I am getting the same amount of sleep as they said in the game, at most 4 hours. When it said it could cause health problems I understand quite a bit, some of the ones I have due to lack of sleep is nose bleeds, lack of breath, and headaches. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to therapy like the game had suggested. I’m socially anxious so to even ask for help would be difficult. I know it’s terrible and wrong but at times I envied some of the scenes that the character was able to express how she felt.
I know I probably shouldn’t have played this when I’m already having troubles, but I’d just like to say that this is a great game for people to try to understand what it’s like. Or if they have it as well I hope this doesn’t make them spiral further down, to those of you reading this, please take care of yourselves :)

The app is very informative with a heartfelt/breaking Story. Anyone who is unaware or unfamiliar with depression can get a glimpse of what it’s like to suffer with it, and how to help those with it as well. This app is surprisingly accurate and relatable, being that i also have depression. Often times people ask me how i’m doing and simply give me a solution, for example, To go outside, and it doesn’t help. The story mode is short, but it makes sense that they have it the way they do. The reality of depression is perfectly depicted here and would recommend for those especially with friends or family with depression to attempt and empathize what it truly means for a person to be ‘depressed.’

I'm depressed and this describes how I feel every day, especially constantly being tired even if I got enough sleep and I consistently just want to be in my bed. This sheds light on how being depressed feels and really informative to people to know what it's like. Although, it was short, it was great. Lowkey, it did spiral me further down in depression earlier today when I played it, haha because I can relate to a lot of things the character in this story experiences. I'm feeling better now though, if you're worrying about me to whoever is reading this. Well, that's all my thoughts :D
