Terrible app

AAA, PLEASE stop using this company for the conference app. It’s broken and dysfunctional. It just erased all my saved info and will no longer display any panels. Every year it has severe problems, and the company doesn’t seem to care at all about fixing any of its persistent bugs. Time to switch to a different app.

The app crashes every time I try to use it. I reloaded it three times, still crashes. I finally deleted it.

Not even a single star—but have to because it won’t post my review otherwise...

The AAA keeps contracting this company to do a really crappy app for its annual meetings. This year, it doesn’t even deserve any stars at all. Although it was quite clunky and not really tailored to our needs as conference participants, it seemed to be working at first, at least, for one to be able to keep track of sessions and maintain a basic schedule.

So what happens then? Today, the conference’s third day, when I open it to take notes at a panel, it’s wiped out my whole schedule, it doesn’t load the events going on at that time, it doesn’t load the conference program, and the search function doesn’t work at all so I can’t even reconstruct my schedule. When I email for support, I get an email back treating me like a moron by “advising” me that I have to have such and such a system version, an internet connection, etc., which I obviously complied with because otherwise, it would not have worked at all and I know enough not to expect anything if I don’t have an internet connection.

To be fair, I then go to the last resort, delete the app, and reload it. SO, now it doesn’t recognize my email or my password, and although others of my apps are downloading stuff like crazy over an internet connection, I’m getting an error message that there’s something wrong with my internet.

This isn’t the first time that I’ve had problems with these apps and I’ve consistently complained about it to the AAA. But for several years now, they just keep going back to this broken down well.

If the AAA wants to keep its environmentalist agenda viable by promoting paper-less meetings, it needs to get off its behind and get someone to develop a decent meeting app for its members. What is it that Einstein said about doing things over and over again in the same way yet expecting results to be different? Exactly...
