Mysteriously called cops without me opening it!
Be careful with this app a few weeks ago I downloaded it and then got distracted So I didn’t even open it. Then three hours later the cops came to our door because the app reported a fight! We explained that there wasn’t a problem Then The officer told me that it was reported from the app and I said I downloaded it and never touched it! The office or concluded that the app must have bugs.I am Comforted that at least I know the app works and that police will respond! I have deleted it for now!
Used to be a nice app but
Developers did a modification of some kind and now it won’t display the city map with locations of incidents. You choose crime maps and instead of the map display, it presents ‘filter’ or ‘submit tip’. Ok, you set the filter, select ‘see results’ and nothing...just the empty screen. I’ll delete and reinstall to see if that helps. So surprised something that was working just blew up. Programmers...beta tests-try it.
Not helpful anymore
This app used to be great. The crime maps were updated daily for the most part and you’d get notifications about road closures and police activity. It was very helpful.
Unfortunately I guess whoever was doing the updates must have moved on, because the crime map hasn’t been updated in months and almost no notifications either.
