Our Access Houston Airports app helps all passengers, especially those with autism or other sensory needs, feel prepared and confident traveling through IAH and HOU airports. Follow our narrated step-by-step guides to understand the process of flying through our airports; create a customized picture schedule for your day of travel; tap one of the picture icons to ask for help; take a break playing the airport matching game; find your favorite airport restaurants using our interactive terminal maps; and more.
Our award-winning Houston airports are committed to being accessible and inclusive for all passengers. The Access HAS app was designed to support all families, especially those with autism or other sensory needs. The features in the app are based on best practice strategies to help reduce anxiety and increase independence while traveling through our airports. Great for parents, wish I had had this when my son was first diagnosed!
This app has amazing info—I love the searchable map!! I love the Art explanations! I love the flight search and service animal areas noted. But I don’t find the social stories on traveling for kids w autism or the games. I only found parent level explanations.

Great app for navigating airport with two small kids. They used the airport map, and the pictures about what to expect on the plane.
