I can clearly see all gear on rent and where they are. Filtered by jobsite, one can ask forman on site if they still need 6 pieces. When they answer that they only have five. One quick screen shot and he is off to get his scissor back from the electricians by checking bumper numbers. Then get the scissor off rented and let the electricians pay Sunbelt and not us. This app coupled with the key accounts team make Sunbelt my first choice on out-of-town work. Highly recommend this app for your accounts payable or purchaser or whomever is responsible for tracking job cost and rentals. A competitors app makes you sign in every time you use the app which I think gives Sunbelt the edge on smartphone tracking.
The map feature lets you zoom in and get a visual of how spread out your rentals are. Easily view invoices, gear on rent, and reservations for gear on the My Account tab. The Location tab displays all the info you could possibly want to know about the branches and what they do. Some features are left at the webportal. Like updating purchase order numbers, custom filtered reports and graphs, Dashboard displaying your account with bar graphs and pie charts. Overall, I make room for this app on my smartphone because gear goes down on the weekend and I can get the ball rolling from anywhere with this app. Still cant get Sunbelt to change their weekly rate to eight days cuz we work eight days a week but they bill for every seven
Sunbelt’s mobile app saves time. I’m able to find out what’s available on the go, which makes getting equipment fast and easy to the jobsite... can’t wait for more progress.
