The ads are horrible but the fix for that is simple….pay for the product. But I don’t so I don’t know for sure. All that said most people that I know that use it like it. I regularly find a new bit of data that the app holds. Wind speed is important to me and that seems to be locally accurate. I think the app would be worth paying for it I don’t know how much it is. And this app tends to be MUCH MUCH MORE Accurate thanks my phones default weather app so there is that.

The interface is overblown, yes, but the forecasts are spot on. AccuWeather isn’t trying to attract attention or clicks by making dire predictions of storms that may or may not happen seven days from now. In fact, they often don’t even acknowledge that kind of prediction so far off in the future (at least by meteorological standards). Their forecasts are calm and wise, not dramatic. I’ve come to trust this app over the years, while others just seem to be crying wolf.

The app is glitchy most of the time. Trying to look at the weekly report on the main screen and the whole app freezes. When it does work it does give a pretty good idea of how the temp is outside and what the weather will be like. I like to watch the radar feature as well as it give a more visual representation of what the clouds are up too. Over all I miss the old formatting but hoping for improvements soon!

Before all the ads and a paid version I would have given it 5 stars. Now I know what you’re thinking “it’s just because of the money you’re changing your rating? That’s dumb.” If that were the case I’d agree, but it’s not. The app is more sluggish now, sometimes not loading at all forcing you to close and open it again. Before if you have poor signal you could still load it but now it’s almost impossible to, which is terrible because signs isn’t great in a storm cellar.

I have worked mostly outside all my life and the AccuWeather App is by far the most accurate and vast weather info source you can have. It is fast, easy, reliable and always ready to provide the important info on the go to help me make the right decisions, to work, or not to work so we do not end up loosing money paying crews to head to the job site when the weather isn’t conducive to work in.

I went back and forth do a while and even had both apps on my phone for about 6 months. AccuWeather was more reliable and gave me everything I needed to see. Rain was right on time and stopped as anticipated. I also like that I’m able to put a pin exactly over my relatives homes so the radar shows what’s currently happening. Highly recommend this app for iPhone
