Exactly what I was looking for (Almost)

I was using Robinhood for over a year and loved how well they displayed stock positions and portfolio performance. I recently moved away from them to a big name brokerage whose app is not nearly as good.

This app allows me to track my portfolio performance and gains without me having to provide the user name and password of my brokerage account (something no one should trust to an app). Love the interface and that I can manually build my portfolio.

The only suggestion I have is to add an iOS widget. Robinhood had one and it allowed me to see the portfolio without opening the app. That would make this a 5 star app.

Good but could be better

This app has basic functionality and I am impressed that the developer seems to actually read review comments so I am recommending the following improvements:
- The circle/pie charts need to show all holdings in the portfolio and not just show 100% stock. As they are now, they are not helpful to show distribution of holdings.
- The Summary roll-up needs to show the percent holding of each of the portfolios. This is critical for tracking distribution and checking to see when re-balancing might be needed. A circle/pie chart at the summary level would be a nice feature to illustrate the percentage of each portfolio.
- If the stock being tracked is a mutual fund, the dollar amount listed under "Today's profit" should not reflect yesterday's profit. The amount should be zero or a comment saying "waiting for market close."
- News alerts are hard to decipher. This may be a formatting issue. Also many of the alerts seem to not be applicable to any of the holding in my portfolios.
- Need charts for mutual funds
- Kind of cool that stock charts show continuous (after hour) trades but please format the 5 day chart to make it easier to see the start and end of trading for each day.
- Would be nice if the summary page also listed the major stock indices so one can gauge the market and/or make comparisons between portfolios and market performance.

Pity, this app could be great

I’ve been using this app for several years and it’s pretty good. Simple to enter and update information about each investment with a clear presentation by each investment and a summary of total portfolio performance. So why then only a 3 star rating? The problem is the app does NOT consistently update all holdings at close of market each day, rendering the portfolio total inaccurate. For some reason on some days (but not all) it fails to update the closing price of some ETFs. Perhaps this is because these ETFs reset a few hours after the US market close? Not sure, but it’s an unfortunate flaw in an otherwise good app.

Follow up several months later. Still no improvement. I guess Developer is not listening, The app continues to get closing price of some ETFs wrong OR to show zero for that ETF. Can’t understand why this Develooer unable to track stock/ETF prices when other apps seem to have to problem with this.
