I used this app for years. Today it quit working. I’m looking at a BUNCH of ads all over the place where there used to be none. Not good.UPDATE: after trying all kinds of things, and manually adding a bunch of URLs to be blocked, but they were ignored, I totally uninstalled the app. Then I reinstalled it again. And reset all of the various permissions and other settings to make it work. After that, the ads no longer appeared. For some reason the app got confused and stopped working. The only way to kickstart it to work again was to install it again.The app has options to contact developer. It throws you into a useless chatbot. It told me to run some test. I ran that test and scored 100%. According to their system, all ads were blocked. But I was looking at a bunch of ads all over the place.

I am looking for an Adblocker, since I had Luna totally free for years. First it has another name and they took it away then they came with Luna. A few weeks ago it stopped working and came to find out its not longer available. Now I understand why it stopped because along with another Adblocker I never had any add in any website. Then I came here and download this one and like 3 more. I gave " permission" to act. I was having for the first time the worse internet issues, but couldn't figured out what was happening. I kept taking out the apps but leaving this one as I thought was doing something although I wasn't 100% happy because I kept getting the annoying ads. It's was weird because I couldn't connect to my personal phone internet that I have unlimited everything and neither to my house internet, I just thought the phone was acting up and after like 3,4 days in that,I decided to turned this off for 5 minutes then internet came back. Then it came back on, internet left me again. Ugh I figured out this was the thing messing up my internet. I, of course took it out of my sight for ever. This kept login me off of places to and had to manually put my password every time. Not sure if this is a Spam and got all my personal things but if I can advise someone to be careful and go very far away from this, I am glad to do it. Be safe and carefully out there. Still looking for and addblocker that blocks everything because the one I have still leaks ads and I don't want to pay if I am not going to get results but with Luna I know you can find good apps that delivers what they promise. I just need to find it! Luna I am looking for you and I can't find you, where are you beautiful?

So, Blokada updates on my iPad this morning. Suddenly no ads being blocked , nada. Go to the app and get the free trial has expired message. Uh, what free trial? So, I'm not completely dense, I see what's happened. I decide the app is worth keeping at least for the free trial period while I decide what to do. But, after following instructions and signing up for trial nothing works, no ads being blocked. Not only couldn't they bother to warn us about the change they couldn't tell us how to correctly keep using the app. Bottom line, the vpn that Blokada had been using needs to go away. So, I just removed and reinstalled app, chose the Blokada dns and everything seems to be working fine. Sad thing is this is an app I will happily pay for when it is working well. I just have a big pet peeve about poor communications at best and purposely hiding the Change until it occurs at worse. This either shows, bad judgment , ineptitude, arrogance, disrespect or maybe all the above. Bottom line, it torques me off the way I was treated as a customer. Minus stars for you until I cool down. Maybe later I'll revise but for now that's what you deserve for not being upfront and honest.

Now i had this app back then for a 2-3 months and it really worked. It blocked any ads I used to get on Crunchyroll and games I used to play on my phone. But unfortunately, some glitchy stuff started to happen on my phone, the wifi would be slower and not work for me. And would cause my apps to glitch and lag out of the app. I don’t know if anyone has noticed but when you activate this app or feature, the VPN option appears on your phone’s settings, and when it appeared for me, the option of turning on/off on the VPN would glitch as well. It would sometimes turn off and on in a matter of seconds by itself, when I wasn’t even doing anything. It would turn on, then off, then on again, and back to off again, over and over again until it stopped by itself. So after a while, it made my phone even more glitchy and laggy, and slow, at first I thought my phone was sort of broken. But after searching and trying to figure out what was wrong, I deleted the app and my phone was back to normal and worked fine.
