Description

That's right -- this is a free app, with no ads! Saves you bandwidth, battery life, and annoyance. This is possible because the app is supported by its passive app store links, tastefully hidden behind a key on the keyboard.

This is a simple and intuitive unit converter.

It is easy to use. Gets you the information you need with a minimum of fuss.

Units currently included are acceleration, angle, area, density, distance, energy, force (or weight), mass, power, pressure, speed, temperature, time, and volume.

All the conversion is done on a single screen . . . who needs more?

Any comments or suggestions, feel free to write me at jockuxyzsch@gmail.com, but without the xyz!

ClimberBill ,

Works great, no annoying ads! Thanks

I’ve had this on my iPhone for a few years. It’s a great tool. My only complaint would be a couple times I’ve found I wanted a certain unit of measurement that isn’t on the app. One example is “Minutes per Mile”. Runners use it rather than mph. Otherwise it has worked flawlessly. Thanks

Just what I needed

So far I’ve only used this app on my iPad Pro and think it’s great. At first I thought it was going to be a dud because I couldn’t find “length” as a choice but then I realized the developer used “distance” instead. Not the terminology I was expecting but that’s really a nit. I see another reviewer asked for a “six plus” screen so apparently there’s some issue with the way this displays on the iPhone 6+. Since that’s what I have I hope I don’t have to come back & lower my rating once I use the app there. Until then, I highly recommend this app.

Worked fine at first...

Now many times when I put in a number, the converted unit doesn’t make sense. For example: under Mass or Force/Weight I enter 95 kilograms. The resulting conversion to pounds is 2.09E+02.
Smaller numbers convert just fine (up to 45 kg in this instance). This doesn’t happen when converting pounds to kg.
