- Formatted document support: this release supports the import and export of HTML and Markdown documents. As with previous releases, the focus is on translating the text itself — formatting markers are not used to display the text in the editor, but are instead preserved and inserted into the exported document. (#622, 624, 625, 633, 634) - Fixed an issue where the Export action was not displayed at app launch (#631)

- Increased the font size and weight for the punctuation and automatic case steps in the New Project wizard (#615) - Increased the font size for the source and target language selection steps in the New Project Wizard (#614) - Fixed an issue where the verse count totals were incorrect for chapters with verse ranges (#605).

This release contains fixes for the move forward / backwards buttons in the Gloss and Free Translation editors (#600, #601).

Fixed a versification bug that was causing a hang when importing USFM for the book of Joshua.

Fixed a selection issue with the New Project wizard’s language name dropdown menus (#577).

* Reworked the language names dropdown in the New Project wizard to increase the size of the dropdown when possible, and increase the maximum number of search results to 200. The search results also now contain the language region if available. (#574) * Added iOS privacy manifest. (#575)

Adapt It Mobile 1.16.1 is a patch release, containing the following two fixes: * Fixed an issue where edits to a translation made in the Knowledge Base editor were not persisting properly (#570). * Removed auto-capitalization from the Cases step in the New Project wizard, and in the new Knowledge Base Entry source and target edit fields (#569).

Language Selection Enhancements When possible, Adapt It Mobile will display the autonym (native language name) for each language in the source and target language name fields for your translation projects, with the name of the language in English in a secondary line below each suggestion.

Adapt It Mobile now displays the file chooser screen for you to select a local or remote directory (e.g. iCloud) to export the document. You can also choose to export the document to the clipboard.

Document Import enhancements - Adapt It Mobile now displays the file chooser screen for you to select a local or remote file to import. You can also choose to import text from the clipboard or share files from other apps. - Adapt It Mobile now supports the import of Adapt It desktop project (.aic) files during file import. Note: if you choose to import a project file from the import screen, Adapt It Mobile will create a new translation project, but will not switch to this new project. To switch between projects, Select Settings > Project Management from the main screen.

Adapt It Mobile 1.13.1 is a patch release, containing the following bug fixes: - Fixed an issue where multiple clicks on the OK button at the end of the document import wizard would cause Adapt It Mobile to get stuck on the document import page (#531) - Fixed an issue in USFM document import where the last verse not imported if it was blank (#530) - Fixed an issue with the open / import document feature (i.e., opening from another app) that would cause Adapt It Mobile to hang (#528) - Fixed an issue where the Cancel button at the end of Import document was not responding (#527) - Fixed an issue where the "Find in Documents" action (both in the Knowledge Base / translation detail view and the “Show Translations” screen / translation detail) sometimes displayed a blank box instead of chapter results (#526) - Improved error reporting for problems that can arise during document import. View and Edit the Knowledge Base Adapt It Mobile can now view and edit the contents of the knowledge base (translation memory). To access the knowledge base editor, click on the Knowledge Base link on the Settings screen. From there, you can: - View the current entries in the knowledge base - Search for entries - Add new entries - Click on an entry to view or edit the translation — or view where the translation is found in the project Bug Fixes and Various Enhancements - Added functionality to add new translations through the Show Translations screen, available from the More Actions dropdown when a translation is selected in the Adaptation screen. - Fixed an issue where importing / merging identical data before verse 1 would cause Adapt It Mobile to hang (#520).

Fixed some issues with partial USFM file import from Key It (#518).

Knowledge Base import/export enhancements Adapt It Mobile can now import/export LIFT files, and can export SFM key term files (containing \lx and \ge markers). With this release, Adapt It can pre-populate the Knowledge Base for your translation projects from the following formats: - Adapt It Desktop KB (.xml) - Translation Memory Exchange (.tmx) - Lexical Interchange Format (.lift) - SFM key term file (.sfm or .txt) New / updated embedded fonts Adapt It Mobile now comes with 7 embedded fonts for a wider range of character support (fonts include Andika, Annapurna, Charis, Doulos, Gentium Plus, Scheherazade New, and Source Sans Pro). You can select these fonts, or any other font installed on your mobile device, to properly display text during translation and translation checking. Bug Fixes and Various Enhancements - Fixed an issue where the OK and Cancel buttons were not visible on longer settings screens (#513).

Import SFM key term files You can now import SFM key term files (containing \lx and \ge markers) to pre-populate the Knowledge Base for your translation projects. Bug Fixes and Various Enhancements - Fixed a hang during XML document import via local file (#503). - Fixed a condition that was preventing double-tap selection in the adaptation editor from working properly (#499). - Fixed an issue where XML document import via clipboard was not gathering the localized Scripture name as a suggested book name (#500). - Fixed an issue where free translation text was displaying in adaptation mode with preview enabled (#495). - Fixed some display bugs that were occurring when switching between edit modes (adaptation / gloss / free translation) with preview enabled (#497).

This release includes support for exporting gloss and free translation data to USFM format.

This release includes 2 new editor modes that can help your translation work: - The gloss editor mode allows you to either create linguistic glosses of the source text for language research / documentation, or to create a literal interlinear gloss or back translation into a third language. - The free translation editor allows you to create an idiomatic translation of the target text in order to test the translation's accuracy and readability.

This release provides some under-the-hood support for glossing, which will be fully supported in the next release. New features: - The glossing translation memory file (glossing.xml) can be imported from Adapt It desktop. Users can either restore the glossing translation memory from the file or merge the glossing translation memory with the existing translation memory. - Adapt It Mobile now populates the glossing translation memory when the user imports an Adapt It desktop (.xml) document.

Adapt It Mobile now supports restoring or merging the translation memory (Knowledge Base) from either an Adapt It desktop .xml Knowledge Base file or from a Translation Memory Exchange (.tmx) file.

Support for import / merging of USFM text portions from the Key It app. Blank verse info is now displayed on separate lines; by default blank verses cannot be translated, but the user can configure this setting in the editor settings for the project.

- Adapt It Mobile now "advertises" its ability to open the document files it supports (.txt, .tmx, .sfm, .usfm, .usx, .xml). Using your favorite cloud service, you can automatically download/open/import these files into Adapt It Mobile if you have a translation project defined. - Adapt It Mobile now allows users to select / delete documents that have been imported into the current project. This can be helpful for users who are translating snippets of temporary text, and who want to clean up the snippets from the document list afterwards. - Adapt It Mobile now supports the insertion of placeholders both before and after the current selection. This brings Adapt It Mobile in line with the desktop version of Adapt It. Bug Fixes and Various Enhancements - Added support for the 3.x file format versions of USX and USFM - Security patch -- CVE-2021-23369 - Fixed a problem on iOS where the on-screen keyboard would cause the editing area to overwrite the toolbar while adapting.
