Ok for an extension on the App Store is actually a relatively positive endorsement. I'm still finding the uBlock Origin extension from the Extensions Gallery working much more efficiently and completely, but at least with this new version of AdBlock Plus I am not noticing a huge hit in speed. It also does a pretty fair job at blocking ads and being able to turn off "Acceptable Ads" is a good thing. It still does not block ads in Twitter. I guess Adblock Plus finds them acceptable whether or not you turn off Acceptable Ads.

Thank you for your feedback and making us aware.
If you are seeing ads despite having Acceptable Ads turned off, this is not feature. It means the website is using circumvention software to get around our Ad blocking efforts. We're always thankful to receive user feedback on this, as it allows us to respond quicker.
Developers seemed to be busy responding to reviews something about app rewrite from ground up because Apple changed rules, etc…
So what are the rules/changes, do share more? It was working so why the changes?
Please spend more time on improvements otherwise this present app version showed not working like saw Firefox and Chrome.
Keep up the great work!!!

Thanks for updating your review! Apple is forcing Ad blocking extensions to work with their content blocking model instead of our own ad blocking engine. We also needed to integrate the app, instead of having it available as an extension only. Those two changes are the cause of the significant difference between our versions currently. But we're staying on top of improving the quality!
does the job
Can't beat the price for getting rid of a major amount of irritating ads
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
