IMPORTANT: For the app to work you must "Allow" it access to your calendar. You can do this the first time you run the app, or at any time subsequently via Settings > Privacy > Calendars.
If you're like me, you use your iPhone's calendar like a to-do list, reminding your future self of what needs to be done when.
This app allows you to silently and discreetly add reminders to your iOS device's calendar in just a few taps.
The built-in interface to add calendar appointments is a bit cumbersome - it takes at least eight taps, plus some typing, to set up an event with an alert.
I built this app for myself to simplify the process:
* One tap to open the app
* One tap plus some typing to enter a description
* Adjust the date/time picker, which has sensible defaults
* One tap on the plus button - and you're done!
It also takes just one tap to adjust alert and duration - and your choices are remembered for the next time you want to add an appointment.
Note: This is the premium version, without ads. If you'd like to try the app before you buy it, check out the free version of Add Reminder to Calendar (blue icon).
Compiled for modern 64-bit iPhones, so it won't be removed from the App Store.

Worth the Buy
Convenient and Fast. My wife will grab my iPhone quickly and give me a Honey-Do. (great, Another errand) :-) The only thing I'd like to see is the ability to select which calendar. Like from "Dog Things" to "Wine Events" so I can keep things organized. Great App!
Add Reminder to Calendar, Gold
I am running this utility for the Apple Calendar App on iPod Touch, 3rd Gen, iOS version 4.0.2. I like this small App. New calendar events can be entered quickly and easily. The interface is intuitive and I have had no problems installing or using the App. All entries are added to the default calendar. I would like to see the ability to add repeat options in a future upgrade.
