Adding addresses-- updated review

UPDATE - 1/6/20 - after my review below about the errors trying to add multiple addresses from the Contacts app, the developer fixed the problem and put out an updated app almost right away. Nicely done!

Old review-
There is no way to select multiple addresses when adding from your Contacts app, so the contacts are added one at a time. More than half the time, the selection window closes on its own and selects the wrong contact. It's taken me more than 30 minutes to add 50 addresses.

A Keeper

I had some problems because I did not understand the program. This program is a throwback to the good old days of Macintosh, when a simple program did one thing, and it did it very well. Once I was taught (by the very helpful folk who answer email at Nobody LLC) what I was doing wrong, I was fifteen minutes from printing several dozen labels.

Before the solution to may problem was sent to me, I was asked to send a sample of my data file. An almost immediate response came back that diplomatically showed me that the problem I was causing was an unwanted data item in my mailing list. That response even sent back my address list in an Address Labels data file. My work was done, if I didn’t want that item in the list.

I download, try, and reject a fair number of apps. This app does one job very well and very simply. The support is superb. (Is it fair to say Nobody provides great support for their app?) Address Labels by Nobody LLC will stay in my Applications folder.

Exactly What I Needed!

I purchased this app for my Christmas card list. I have previously used an Access database, but that went away earlier this year. I was able to export the data to a CSV file. When I tried to import the data from the CSV file into this app, the app crashed (repeatedly). Rather than jump straight to a negative reivew, I emailed Till, one of the creators of the app, and explained the problem. I shared the error report and my CSV file and they were able to identify the problem - it was some bad data in my CSV file. Once I deleted that particular information (which I did not need anyway), the app worked great! It was exactly what I needed!

I really appreciate Till's quick response and how he was able to zero in on the problem. I am definitely a happy customer!
