"I love how this app has streamlined addressing my Christmas cards!! Thank you!!"
"AddressLabels delivers an extremely effective way to manage card lists which means the ability to easily compose lists from your Contacts, get the labels printed, and keep track of cards received and sent! Add the ability to manually enter list members, assign nicknames, select from multiple addresses, intelligent handling the country portion of the address, accommodate a large range of label types, AirPrint directly or produce a PDF of the labels, clone new lists from existing lists, all wrapped in a visually pleasing interface. Winner!"
"I hate addressing my Christmas cards. This app made it very easy to make labels. I don't have a printer that works with my iPad yet, so I really appreciated having the capability to send them as a PDF to my email address. The app is awesome..."
“Just what you need at this time of year - a reliable self updating list to speed up sending out cards. This is the 3rd or 4th year I've used it and it just gets better and better.”

What’s New

Version 7.40

The app name has changed to Address Labels & Envelopes, to match up with the corresponding app on the Mac app store.
To be honest, the changes made are more to help the developer maintain the app.
There is a new Help page with a button to allow users to share a link to the app on the App Store. You can now tell friends and family about the app. Spreading the work will be a great help to the developer.
There is also a new "Support the Developer" screen which allows donations to be made to help the developer maintain the app. Previously you could only tip the developer once. Now you can tip the app as often as you would like. These donations will be a great help to the developer and very much appreciated.

Better, and better!

He deserves all the tip$ I’ve given him. I tipped him again today. If your a user, consider leaving a great review, recommend his app, and leave a tip. 😌I have rated and reviewed this app a few times. Once I got the hang of it, I use it to make letterhead, return labels, mailing labels, list of contents indie a box or file, “property of” labels, readable at a glance labels with the expiration dates for rarely used food items…and I label my medication bottle tops with readable dosages-ie “2 ea 3 x day”. Many more! The developer is constantly improving this app. He is now working on circular labels for us all. I use round labels, but I’ve had to have my grandchildren handwrite them for me with their younger hands. He is prompt, and very, very helpful. Right now, he has no “share the app” button. I asked him to consider adding one as I share apps I really like. I’ve used the app for a couple of years because Ive had strokes , and can no longer write. This has been a lifesaver for me. Thank you to the developer for his work, and support. :)

Developer Response ,

Thank-you again for that great review. Also, thanks for pointing out some of the many uses that the app can help with.
I am adding the "share" option now - thanks for the idea.
Any more ideas? Please get in touch.

I wish you would add the option to print on envelopes

This app addresses a HUGE flaw/shortcoming of the ipad, iphone and icloud. You can’t print from Contacts. On the mac computers you can easily print envelopes for a group. It is not possible from the ipad, iphone, or icloud. So, if you don’t have a computer, or an Apple computer, you are out of luck. There is no way to do it. A terrible oversight on the part of Apple. Also, it seems nearly impossible to properly import my contacts to my PC. I spent several hours trying to figure it out myself, then on the phone with Apple, then at the Genius Bar. They finally determined that it is ‘t possible....so, this app is AWESOME. However, I contacted the developer last year, requesting that the option to print envelopes (of several sizes) be added. Her replied, but said it is too difficult. I don’t understand why. In any case, I personally think an envelope printing app would be better, because printing envelopes takes less time than having to stick on labels, costs less, and looks better. For all these reasons, I am requesting again that the envelope option be added. No one else does it, so you would be doing everyone a great service. I find this app a little confusing and difficult, because there aren’t any instructions, but it is better than any other option out there. Thank you for making it!

Developer Response ,

Hi - thanks for that. I haven't refused to add the envelope functionality. In fact, I am seriously thinking about doing so.
Actually, one user of the mac version of the app has successfully printed to envelopes. I think the same method could be applied to the iOS version. If you are interested in hearing more about this, please contact me on support@ios.addresslabels.app In fact, please contact me again to talk about the addition of envelope printing to the app.
As for instructions, there are numerous help pages on the app's website - iOS.addresslabels.app Have a look and let me know if you think there is something missing.
Happy Christmas 🤶🏽🎄🎅🌲

Helpful app and excellent customer service

2021 update: been using this since 2012 and it gets better and easier to use every year! I love, love, love that you can add graphics and print on envelopes. This year we used a holly graphic to the left of the address and picked a fun font in forest green. They came out fantastic and printed sooooo easily. I cannot say enough good things. Great app that I’m using for my 10th holiday season in a row (in addition to other mass mailings)!!

Prior 2021 review:
This app is very helpful. Being able to print labels makes card sending easier. At first I had trouble with importing addresses from a previous list but the support staff explained how to do it (which in hindsight I should have figured out on my own). I am impressed with their support staff, they went out of their way to help. I recommend this app!
