Description
Introducing Literacy KC's Adventure App: Celebrating Black History Month! Explore (either in-person or "virtually" from anywhere in the world) 30 landmarks of Black History in Kansas City. Each stop has narrative audio describing its history, with the narration provided by prominent members of Kansas City's Black community (including a few celebrity cameos.) After you listen to the audio, you can play a short trivia game for that location to earn points. Post a selfie to the Selfie Wall to earn even more points! First edition celebrates Black History Month, with more maps to follow in subsequent versions.

I loved being able to select different stops and learn about the locations for black history month!
Red Flag - Privacy Invasion
I was excited to learn about this app but appalled at the amount of personal data it requires to use it. And the requirement that you accept all of the emails, fundraising and other, that they want to send. I wanted to learn some KC history but not this way. Shame on KSHB for promoting this gross invasion of personal security.
