Play, experience a thrilling adventure, and learn German too! Accompanied by the art expert Vincent Mirano, you will embark on an exciting journey throughout Germany. Has the 4000-year old Nebra Sky Disk been stolen?
You can improve your reading and listening competence in German with this adventure game by the Goethe-Institut. You repeat important vocabulary at Levels A1 and A2, and practice the German language in numerous dialogues and short fill-in-the-gap texts.
The game is ideal for learners at Level A2. You therefore do not yet need to know all that much German to discover the secret of the Sky Disk.
The entire game has an audio soundtrack so that you can both read and hear all of the texts all of the time.
You can click onto all dialogues. You decide what happens in the story and when you wish to repeat a text because there was something you did not understand.
In the game, you practice typical situations that will be helpful to you during a stay in Germany (ordering and paying in a restaurant, asking directions, filling out forms).
All exercises are embedded in an exciting adventure story. This way, learning never becomes boring!
Over 2 hours pure playing time.

Absolutely loved it!
Just finished this game during a long car ride. I wish I could personally thank Goethe Institut for all the free learning content they have online (Deutsch für Dich is a great help too!) because they've certainly been a tool in my past couple years learning German. This game is pretty basic German, even with setting the help language to German. Still, I think it's great practice to cement listening comprehension. There's lots of good voice acting for those who are working on listening comprehension, but even if you still struggle with that the dialogue is all transcribed. The little tasks throughout the game are fun too. Seriously recommend this app, especially for self-learners out there. Thanks a lot, Goethe Institut!
Great Learning App!
Having an intermediate knowledge of German, I was looking for a more advanced app that would take my vocabulary to the next level. This did that perfectly!! I love how practical it is, taking you on a journey as if you were actually visiting Germany. The audio is also slowed down, so you can better grasp the information. Wish there were more adventures, this was just too great! Some might find it boring, but I found it challenging and worth the time-investment to learn the language better.
Ein gutes Spiel! I hope a sequel is on its way! Those with intermediate/conversationalGerman will especially enjoy it. (If you don't have a large vocabulary, it may help to have a dictionary on hand.)
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
