Good app - one major issue

Overall this app has changed my financial life. I love the features and ease of use. There is one flaw that I find particularly difficult to deal with. When a transaction is made it typically shows up as pending prior to it clearing. The amount of the transaction is subtracted from the actual balance and is reflected in the available balance which is good. However, sometimes that transaction simply disappears for days sometimes and then will reappear once it clears. I can see this being a major issue for people who live from paycheck to paycheck and rely solely on the app to be an accurate reflection of your account. This particular issue has caused my partner to overdraw my account resulting in overdraft fees a number of times. If it shows up as pending it shouldn’t disappear.

Because pending debit card transactions are finalized and processed at the discretion of the merchant, we will hold pending transaction amounts for up to 72 hours so that your available balance remains as accurate as possible. Unfortunately some merchants will take longer to pull the funds from your account so it's important to monitor your transaction history as well. I had a lot of difficulty setting this up. Will be trying to move money around now and see if that is any easier or if it is going to take me a week to do that also.
I love Advia credit u ion as my financial institution. I am from Michigan and just moved to the DC area and the transition from state to state has been smooth. I was happy to see that Advia also has sites here in Washington
I did have an issue with an iTunes hack on my account and thank goodness for Michelle. She helped me so much. I owe you a big one Michelle. Thank you so much for assisting me with my problem. Without you life would have been different.

When it works, its online banking from 1990..

Constantly down. Online service goes up and down almost every day sometimes for long periods of time. If you make purchases you run the risk of not being able to transfer money which incurs overdraft fees.
This online app and advia also use funny ways to not show you true numbers in your account balance sections, they do this to throw your math off when making purchases and once again incur overdraft fees.
Very shady bank and app!
Have called customer service to refund overdraft fees which they will always politely do. I also ask them to explain why i even was given an overdraft fee with sufficient money in my account, they take a few minutes to review my account and apologize because they cannot explain why the system did an overdraft and charged the fee.
Very Shady! Pay attention to your accounts.
