It’s ok. The zones for the drum set are off from what I actually have set up, and there’s no way to change it right now.
I also thought you could unlock different genres of music to play along to, but I know now that it is actually how the drums sound in the app. In “song mode” the beats you play with the pocket drums are actually a beat early, so you can hear them in time thanks to sound delay, so be careful when switching to real drums again.
The developers should have waited for a more polished version before relaxing to public. It has a lot of potential to be good, it’s just not right now

I got this because my son wants to learn drums but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a drum set before he showed continued interest and/or promise. The AeroBand drumsticks meet that need 100 percent. Best yet - they are portable and can be used with headsets.

The downside comes in at the app. In the different learning modules the beat you are trying to emulate doesn’t work with the music playing. Because of this, it makes the rhythm of the beats sound terrible. It is counter intuitive to have a drummer learn to set a beat that doesn’t coincide with the background music. I haven’t figured out how to turn off the music to the learning modules but if it isn’t possible, it needs to be in future updates.

Yes there is lag from the point of “strike” to the sound but this is Bluetooth technology and should be expected. I knew this going in and didn’t have an issue with it. I really just wanted something I could make a minimum investment in to aid in learning. The App, however, needs serious improvement. There is so much potential here. I would hate to see this guttered before that potential could be reached.

Fun concept but still needs a lot of work. The app is buggy and often gets stuck in a loop and will not let you proceed to play drums. Support and documentation is very weak. Language translation to English is often difficult to understand. Fun when it does work.
