We are a mobile gifting app connecting communities with the local business that they love. In the afloat marketplace, users can shop for gifts from local stores they trust, love, and want to support… and have it delivered for a seamless and meaningful gifting experience for both the giver and receiver.
At your fingertips, you can give gifts, support local businesses and reinforce relationships. Better yet, afloat makes these things easy and enjoyable, and then everyone reaps the real-life reward of doing good and feeling good. Whether it’s celebrating an engagement, a baby, giving a teacher gift, or sending some support for a breakup or while a friend is stuck at home… the app will help you keep everyone afloat.

Where has this been all my life - amazing!!
I’m terrible about asking for help, and when I realize I might need some, trying to figure out who to ask just seems like another task. Afloat makes it SO easy! I’ve already set up groups with the moms in each grade at my children’s school, my family, various friend groups, church group, and book club. Everyone said the same thing - where has this been all my life! Family/friend going through a rough time? Afloat can help (sooo much better and more personal than meal trains that end up being more overwhelming than helpful).
Have a kiddo pick-up SOS? Afloat can help.
Forgot to pick up pipe cleaners for a school project? Afloat can help. Crappy day & just need a little pick-me-up? Afloat can help. Running late for everything & don’t want to feed your kids from a drive through for dinner tonight? Afloat can help. I could keep going, but you get the picture.
I also love that you can send requests out to the larger community if you’re out of town & don’t know where to go to ask for help when you (or someone you know) might need it - or answer requests from people outside your groups if you want to just make someone’s day. What a wonderful and easy way to spread a little kindness!! LOVE it!!

Just the app we need
I love this app! Everyone needs help. And everyone wants to help. afloat makes it easy to request an afloat (meal, favor, care, service, beverage, etc) and post it to their private group. I created a group for my cousins (there are thirty of us!). Highly recommend for anyone who wants an easy way to connect and help the people they care about.
I’ve needed this app for years!!!
I love being thoughtful and sending meaningful gifts to my friends but I literally don’t have the time for it! afloat is making me look like the greatest friend of all time! I pick out a beautiful gift (they wrap it for me!) and it gets delivered same day! Are you kidding?! I’m obsessed!
