Description
AFN Now delivers top-rated American news, information, and entertainment programming to Defense Department employees and their immediate family members stationed with them outside of the United States, its territories and possessions. It provides the authorized audience with another way to enjoy AFN programming, that is also delivered by satelltie to the worldwide audience, by using a device connected to the internet.

Why not fix the issues
I just don’t understand why there have been so many reviews discussing the problems and the bugs haven’t been fixed 115 should be more than enough to attempt to fix it. You have 115 people that have made a sacrifice to give up the things people find trivial like live tv, American sports, American movies. Then YOU offer them a small bit of home just to get their hopes up knowing that it doesn’t work well at all …… might as well not have even made the app if you aren’t going to update problems.
Solid performance, will the content grow?
The app performs well and the interface is pretty intuitive. The live news is actually the AFN news channel, so lots of cable opinion shows on repeat. Hopefully the full launch will include some access to the actual networks.
My biggest wish is for the NFL to allow live streaming on the app, but thus may be too much to hope for since they have their own streaming apps.
Unable to even register
I have attempted multiple times since arriving in Korea and not once has the App allowed me to register. I tried in on IPhone, laptop, IPad, and the TV’s. Always get to the end and an “Unexpected error” stops it. I try it at least once a month and we are going on 8 months now. Oh well would be nice if it worked. I guess…
