AfterHour: Social Copy Trading Ratings and Reviews

This app has by far exceeded my expectations for a copy trading app. There are so many sketchy apps and bots that make up a good words and stuff . But this one stands out a lot better and way on top than anything I have used so far till now. I’ve found handful of people who are so happy to share their trades in this app and I eventually made money. Unlike this app I’ve tried many other links, apps and websites that all these people advertise on social media to lure you into their websites or apps and force you to add certain money and make trades according to their preference. But you’re not gonna find it here. Here you have to do your own due diligence so if you’re a rookie, please get some idea and learn something about trading and then hop onto this app to bring the best out of knowledge and grow your funds together with after hour community. Please be aware this is not for people who just want to simply copy the trades and expect to grow their portfolio. Every member here are same people just like all so some have incredible amount of knowledge and wisdom whereas others are just willing to learn be better trader than who they were yesterday by community’s mutual help.

I have only started to invest about four months this ago and I started my journey on Reddit and downloaded some of the more popular investing apps like Stocktwits. I saw a post on Reddit from SirJack about a new app he created so I thought I would give it a shot. Although I got some useful info from Reddit and other apps, there was so much toxicity that it makes you feel like you can’t really post or ask questions freely. Since I joined, AfterHours has been exactly what I needed as a stock market noob. So many helpful users in this community who will not only help answer your questions but also post free research, insights, and plays. It’s a community where people just want to make money together and that non-toxic environment is fiercely protected by the creator of the app.

This app has greatly improved my portfolio. You alone and your single brain cannot be smarter than the market. You will win and lose no matter what you use to trade. But with afterhour the odds greatly more so in your favor. It’s several thousand brains, against the market. While this could be comparable to other trading forums or social platforms, afterhour uniquely has verified portfolios so you know where exactly the advice giver stands in terms of what they are risking, when they bought in, when they sell, etc. My portfolio has only grown since downloading the app, and nothing else i’ve tried comparable. I cannot recommend this app enough.

After observing this interesting X like app for several months under a different alias, I finally felt compelled to write my review.

Ultimately, it is best used if you’re starting out in investing and trading. As someone with over 30 years experience however, it’s all quite basic and at times humorous to read many of the posts. Even from the guys with the most followers.

“I just bought 3 shares of XYZ!” is a familiar looking post. Or “Just sold my 1 call contact in ABC”. Yes, it’s quite small potatoes. They promote copy trading. Well, the trading is rather small in nature.

Also, you can tell the average age of the posters on there are somewhere between 18-23yrs old. Why is that a big deal? Because these young men know nothing of bear markets. They also simply lack experience. And they pass down their minimal market knowledge to others and followers.

Since they are dealing with rather small shares, contracts, and dollar amounts, I suppose it’s not too dangerous for newbies.

So, as my title reads, this app is good for beginners. It’s free, very youthful in population, funny at times, and very small stakes.

For more seasoned investors and traders, I’d suggest looking somewhere else such as StockTwits. Not the best site, but certainly an uptick from AH.

This app is awesome. I enjoy it as a social media and I enjoy it to learn. I have met many very cool people and I also found my father on this app which is great and now he and I are rekindling our relationship and it is bringing me many joys. I am able to learn I’m able to. I’m able to cry. I’m able to share good times with people and meet like-minded people in different communities and groups a lot of very valuable free resources on this app actually everything is literally free so it’s all good. Love it very nice. I know they are working on UI updates and technical updates as it is a small team, but it is great. Definitely good for beginners and experienced people like.

The community is AMAZING. Obvious there are going to be some scammers in the world, but this community is extremely quick and professional in addressing these accounts and ensuring that the app stay as genuine as possible. I was skeptical at the beginning because this is the first of its kind and I didn’t have something to compare it to. But I am SO glad I tried it out! I’ve got an amazing community and amazing resources! I have been more profitable than I thought possible on my own. I highly recommend this to anyone that is serious about improving or just wanting an awesome community! Best finance app out there!

Investing can be a solitary road. I love it, I find it interesting but I just don’t meet many people IRL that want to talk about stocks, companies, or many of the intricacies of trading, whether it be a hobby or otherwise. This community has not only benefited my trading journey, but me personally as there are people on there that I’ve grown to think of as friends. I followed Sir Jack on Reddit and I was really happy to join this community. It’s grown so quickly and there are a wide variety of trading styles, from scalpers, to all in, one stock at a time to long hold investors who do the occasional swing play. I hope that I’m a member for as long as I trade.

Hey, I wanted to leave a review for anyone who might be skeptical about downloading this app. I initially thought it would be similar to another WSB, but I’ve received many great calls and solid DD here. Not only that, but I’ve also learned a lot from real traders.

What I love about this app is the transparency—it allows you to see other traders' portfolio values, past trades, and all their posts, which gives you much more confidence in the information shared. The combination of transparency and conversation is genius, and you’ll see the hard work put into this app once you check it out!

I’ve been on the app for a month or so now and it’s already grown so much, I can tell. There’s a ton of helpful folks on the app and lately tons of noobs like myself, but you just have to do your due diligence on who to follow and learn from. I think it’s fantastic, it’s like twitter but for investing, and much better tbh. Linking the ports is awesome and keeps you on your toes. Sir Jack is always looking to make improvements and he’s there for the community and listens. Looking forward to being a veteran on the app someday, but for now I will continue to lurk & learn.
