I played this game with my daughter and her friends at Mission Garden in Tucson, AZ and they loved it! They are in 5th grade and found the game easy to understand and the challenge questions fun to find and answer. My daughter literally exclaimed, “This is so fun, I love this!”I even saw a high school student playing while we were there and loving the “scavenger hunt” nature of the game. It’s clearly fun for all ages! It is extremely satisfying to see kids get excited about being outside and learning about nature.

Needs closer locations
Jerkybill’s Effing Phone
1- there’s nothing wrong with the app, my daughters love it, but the closest location is nearly three hours away. There’s two state forests a National Forest and too many large state parks just minutes from my back door that have nothing for the app2- there should be a map feature to choose from as well as the scroll down list that the app presently uses. 3- a location, even a general one, would be nice. About 90 percent of these places I’ve never heard of- who knew there was a nature center outside of Pittsburgh? Not this one and I’m an outdoor writer!

Great intent! Not quite ready.
NikBunt
The intent of this app is great. But its functionality is not quite ready for prime time. When tapped, the color change of the buttons is barely noticeable. Upon first use, I didn’t notice it. After tapping responses, suddenly the user realizes the question is overwith and the earned points are displayed. Did I miss something? When I chose the Scrub series, where was I supposed to be located? Maybe give name and address of the park. When picture of a walkway into the woods is displayed and a user image is requested, what am I supposed to provide? An image of what? Where was I expected to be located? Snapping an image of what? This game is a great concept. Perhaps could earn different rewards or badges. 10 parks visited, 5 waterfront parks, 5 flat woods preserves, 5 north county and 5 south county. Images of wildlife like scrubjay, tortoise, osprey, snake, etc.
Getting better and better
GnarlyPox
This is a fun and engaging game for young kids and adults who love to be outside, exploring. The app features lots of improvements over the last several years and the addition of play-at-home missions makes it accessible to everyone no matter if they’re near a mission site or are farther away
Bug fixes, performance improvements and optimizations.
