It doesn’t work
I choose the departure airport and tried to choose the arrival airport, and right there the app is stacked.. it doesn’t work .
worst customer service
I’d put ZERO stars, I’ve never seen such rudeness and laziness in my life, they didn’t even bother to answer a simple question (told me to go to their website - which is so difficult to navigate plus it freezes so often & there are no clarifications at their site either), prior to that chat conversation, they said please “google” if you don’t find answers at their site. The person just abruptly left the chat not answering any questions I asked, plus I waited hours on the phone line, they have no idea about their own policies (I quoted what their site said to the phone operator, but they insisted on providing completely different information contrary to what every other airline is doing and said if I wish to follow their own website recommendation I’m free to do so but they won’t guarantee the outcome, then what’s the point of posting the policy on the web since majority of the customers follow it...), please stay away from flying this airline, it is not worth any discount they provide, fortunately there are plenty of other options to save you from insanity.
A whole new experience....
It is hard to put in words how messed up Air Italy operations are. There is no consistent training experience at the company whatsoever. As I write this review, I’m standing at Malpensa airport boarding a bus to the other Milan airport to catch an Alitalia flight to Palermo. You would think that buying business class seats would allow you some level of service but other than a flat bed (not a very clean one at that) the experience was no different.
3 hour plus delay in NY and not the least concern until we actually got here and stood in three very long lines for two hours as to how we were going to get to our destination. You have to act like a crazy person to get someone to pay attention to you.
I have to think that somewhere within Air Italy there is an ok airline for direct flights but never check your bag and never ever get on your late flight until you have another reservation in hand if you are even going to come close to missing it. Good luck...
