Description
Turn your iPad into a wireless whiteboard! Project live sketches to a local computer in 3 easy steps:
STEP 1: Launch Air Sketch.
STEP 2: Open the indicated URL in a web browser.
STEP 3: Everything you draw appears in the browser, as you draw it.
REAL-TIME DRAWING
Just fire up Air Sketch on the iPad and open the specified URL from any HTML5 compatible browser on another computer on the local network to see your sketches in real-time as you draw.
NO DONGLES, CLOUD SERVICES, or PLUGINS NEEDED
Hook up your laptop to a projector to get an instant wireless whiteboard. No need to buy an AppleTV, ChromeCast, or other hardware.
There's no additional client software to install. Use Air Sketch at work, at home, or at conferences, with existing computers.
WANT TO PRESENT SLIDES and MORE?
The Free Edition of Air Sketch supports basic drawing, but runs on the same engine as the Full Edition. Use it to test the performance on your network before getting the Full Edition.
The Full Edition of Air Sketch includes many, many more tools and capabilities, including the ability to wirelessly project and annotate PDF documents (including exported PDF slide decks) and pictures.

WORKS WITH STANDARD WEB BROWSERS
Air Sketch supports any HTML5-compatible browser, including Safari, Firefox, Chrome, and even another iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch! They just need to be on the same local network.
No public WiFi? No problem. You can even use Air Sketch peer-to-peer with a computer via an ad-hoc network when a WiFi hotspot is unavailable (see our blog for the quick how-to).
HAVE an IPHONE or IPOD TOUCH?
Check our Air Projector, our sister App, now available in the App Store!

Excellent
Excellent program. I use it for multiple classes during the pandemic. (I paid for the pro version, because the developers deserve it - but I use the free version since that is all I need. )
One small addition would be the ability to delete all or some of the save screens in the folder without having to swipe each one separately. That would make this a perfect program.
Great app for drawing and sharing concepts at meetings
Have used this for business and personal use. Great to sketch ideas and share...quick and easy.
Freezes
When it works, it’s great, but it frequently freezes or disconnects. I am using this as a whiteboard during Screencastify videos for remotely teaching my math class. It will lag behind and then stop connecting to my Mac. Every time I want to use it, I have to delete and reinstall because it is completely unresponsive on my iPad Pro. If I could simply open it and connect, it would be the greatest thing ever, but it it just too unreliable. Unfortunately, I haven’t found anything better.
