I was going nuts till I used this app!
I had a Bluetooth device connected on my iPhone that I didn’t recognize. I tried everything to figure it out so I used this app. It was 10 minutes later and the mystery was solved. I have a cardiac monitor that is Bluetooth that I haven’t used in a little while. That was the mystery device. The app was very easy to use like finding my AirTag with Apple’s app. I wouldn’t get a long term subscription but the short use period is worth it!

Jumps around in contradictory manner
The free trial did not work very well. It would jump back and forth at a given spot. One second it would show just a red bar and not detected for the past 15 min, then suddenly it would go yellow or green saying it was detected “now”. Then it would flip back to red blip while I was searching (and not moving the phone). It would go back to saying not detected for 15 min. In other words, it did not update the timer when it gave false notification of green bars. By focusing on the locations when would sometimes show green, it was leading me to the wrong rooms in the house. After two days of searching as my Fitbit battery declined from 33% to 18%, I got a different app that was detecting the signal more consistently and found my Fitbit in about 20 min using the warmer colder dial.

Lost hearing aid ,
So somehow I believed I could find it ! All my electronics were telling me location was either right in my lap within 3.5ft 29-86 feet the other way . What I learned was leave the device alone for a minute and make consistent noise to make the bluetooth active . Then trust the numbers even if you already searched an area 3 times already!
