Brought to you from the creator of Designer's Gallery and Embrilliance products, AirStitch provides a wealth of technology for enthusiasts to download, convert, rename, print, transfer, email, examine, and use embroidery design files.
Embroiderers can download embroidery designs (even in a .ZIP) in other apps such as Safari or Mail (email). They can then open those files in AirStitch.
Unzip designs automatically and display them.
Convert designs to all major formats including PES, JEF, VP3, EXP+, DST, and more.*
Print embroidery designs with AirPrint. You'll get two pages for each design: a crisp, colorful image of the design with a sewing template, and design details (thread colors, needles, dimensions, thread usage).
Send designs to your Dropbox.
Email one or many designs.
Conversion, renaming, deleting, printing, emailing, and sharing can be performed on designs in the local AirStitch, cloud-based Dropbox, or WiFi-based AirStash device folders for maximum flexibility.
Support for AirStash hardware. AirStash is a wireless USB stick that lets you transfer embroidery files from AirStitch and use them in your embroidery machine, without going to a computer -- a brilliant companion item for embroiderers!
When using AirStash, if the device is formatted for Janome machines, AirStitch will convert to JEF and place the designs in the correct folder for the machine to use.
Support for a specially-configured Toshiba FlashAir device, a wireless SD card. Send embroidery files to the FlashAir over Wi-Fi -- another option for you to transfer design files from AirStitch and use them in your embroidery machine!
AirStitch provides a beautiful detail view of embroidery files in 3D. You can examine the design as it would look when embroidered -- and you can inspect a thread color list, thread usage information, and design dimensions.
This app is free for all embroiderers, but please support your local sewing machine retailer -- they are there to help, teach and inspire you all year!
* Supported formats: .exp/exp+ .jef .pes .vp3 .csd .dst .dsz .exp .hus .pcm .pcs .sew .shv .tap .vip .xxx

Concept is great
I like this app and tried it compared to Stitchbuddy and others. It crashed on my several times, but the concept was great. I think that future versions will fix some of the bugs. I like the way yuocan see the files. I want a few options that aren't there. Especially the ability to select all, and to delete files easily.
App has never worked. Eats designs.
My designs disappear from the app. The app crashes for no apparent reason. It's completely worthless.

We have never received a report of a design file "disappearing" from, or being "eaten" by our app. We cannot recreate a file "disappearance" in our testing lab. In the first week since the release of our latest AirStitch version 2.1, approximately 4200 users updated or downloaded the app. We received only one (1) crash report. Thousands of users have been enjoying our free AirStitch app since 2013. They have been downloading, printing, inspecting, converting, renaming, deleting, and sharing embroidery design files. Many of our users save their files to Dropbox and AirStash. Many of them send designs over Wi-Fi directly to their sewing machines. If any user needs technical assistance with AirStitch, or would like to provide us with feedback, we encourage them to contact us at http://embrilliance.com/contact-us. Have fun!
I really like this app. The only thing I would like to see added is the ability to add folders so we can store our designs in the app in a completed folder, for example. I've downloaded dozens of designs & backed them up but I have to hunt through the pile to find each new one & if I could file them older ones in a folder that would be great. Also, I have to hit the save to AirStitch twice before it will show up in the app. Not sure why.

denisest: Thanks so much for taking the time to review our app! We can't allow you to create new sub-folders in the "In-App Designs" main folder as that would violate Apple's guidelines. "In-App Designs" is meant mainly as a workspace for design files you download via Safari or ones that are emailed to you. While you can use "In-App Designs" for permanent storage of your designs files, we recommend that you steadily copy those files into Dropbox. We will be allowing the creation of Dropbox sub-folders in an upcoming release of the app. We're listening to our users! We have fixed the bug in which you had to save to AirStitch twice in our latest release of V2.1 (which debuted in the App Store just this last Monday, Sept. 4). If you have any questions or comments about AirStitch, please contact us at http://embrilliance.com/contact-us. Have fun!
