Description

Airwyn lets you monitor a single public PurpleAir sensor or US EPA (AirNow) sensor. You can get a notification with audible alert when air quality index (AQI) goes up or down. This can let you make important decisions for your safety and health -- like when to go inside, and when to open or close windows.

A map gives an overview of AQI in your neighborhood or over the entire world, and lets you pick a PurpleAir or US EPA sensor to monitor. A simple graph shows how the air quality has changed over the last few days for your chosen sensor.

AQI conversion formulas from US EPA, LRAPA, and AQandU are supported.

Please add a way to change the alert threshold

This app is great and sends me alerts when the air quality is above or below 100 and I tied it to my Purple Air sensor. I really wish there was a setting to adjust the point when it sends alerts.. What if I don’t want to go out if it is above 50?

If you add this feature I’ll bump this to 5 stars..

Would be improved by allowing for custom settings

I agree with the previous review- this app is not very useful with the alerts stuck at 100 AQI. I personally have health issues that make it dangerous to go outside if the AQI is over 40. So 100 is an unhelpful alert parameter for me.

This app has a lot of potential and I think a lot of people would use it if that setting could be changed. If that aspect were altered, I would definitely be giving it 5 stars.

Exactly what I needed

With Airwyn, I no longer need to constantly check air quality sites to monitor fluctuations. Airwyn sends me a heads up when the AQI goes above/falls below specific levels. The notification recently went off and I knew it was time to close the windows and crank up the air purifier. This app has definitely made fire season more manageable for me!
