Card Linking
Good idea to support small business. However, I don’t know why I would need to log into my bank account in order to link my card. That alone made me delete the app. I should be able to link my card without logging in. I know it says it’s secure but I’m a bit of a skeptic.
Being rewarded for shopping local!
The Akronite app is one of my favorite things to come out of 2020. At first, I was a bit confused on how it worked, but I soon found out how simple it is. Once you link your cards to the app, the work is done! Just continue shopping around at your favorite Akron businesses, and odds are you’ll be rewarded :) The redemption process is super simple too, the business owners will help you when you go to do it. Shopping local and being rewarded for it is a win/win for us all!

Colu app missing useful category organization
App is poorly organized. There is no good way to see all restaurants or clothing stores or anything by category. Instead, you side scroll through all business types by proximity, trying to guess full name from first 6-8 letters of truncated title. Each biz has a category, but you can’t even use it as a search term! Also map with pins for business locations would be helpful as well.
