In theory great
In theory it’s great, but since there aren’t direction for us tourist trying to save time and use the app to avoid searching for toll money, especially the first time- its terrible. I put in the lane number and didn’t realize I was gonna have to scan something as well. I thought that’s what the point of putting in your tag, credit card, etc was. Waiting for a ticket in the mail now, I’m sure. Emailed support to try to pay before I get in too deep.
Saw the ads and downloaded the app while on the Foley Beach Express thinking we could save time and effort getting through the toll booth. NOT! The app comes with no instructions on what to do or how it works. I entered my credit card info and a screen popped up with a big “Pay” button. Okay!
So we approached the toll gate (still had to wait in line with everyone else) thinking all that we had to do was hit the pay button. NOTHING! The toll gate clerk told me I had to enter a lane number (what?) which he did. Still Nothing. Ended up paying cash after all and taking more time than we should have.
We’ll give it another shot as I may have not given the system enough time to setup my account. We’ll see. That said, a little documentation on what to expect and how to use the app would go a long way.
Update this app!!!!
This is a great app if it would just work with iOS 6. I have lots of people at work waiting on the update also. We contacted our toll booth guy when the beta was out and made him aware of the issue but still nothing has been fixed. It's time to get it working!
