Love the instant balance feature

The instant balance feature is very convenient for staying informed of where I am with both my savings and checking account balances...overall a great user experience with this app

Great app, but useless until password issues resolved

You can copy paste passwords which is a pain, it has touch id, but whenever you do a transaction it asks for a password again. I find it annoying because every time you forget your password you can reuse it. That means you need to keep coming up with passwords that you will keep forgetting because you only use it for this. If I set up touch id please don’t ask for a password, I don’t think it makes sense.

Developer Response ,

As a financial institution we take every measure to protect your account information. The touch ID feature is for convenience in viewing your account information but not for performing account transactions.

Unable to log in

I use a password manager (1password) to store my ALEC password which is a giant string of random characters. Normally, if the app developer didn't decide to natively add in support for using password managers to their app, I could at least go into the 1password app, copy the password from there and paste it into the password field in the app I’m trying to log into.

Instead, the ALEC app not only actively blocks me from being able to paste in the password, but if I try to go back and forth between the two apps to type in the password a few characters at a time, the ALEC app will erase everything I had previously typed in.

The only way around this would be to write the password down first which kind of defeats the purpose of the password manager (or just general password safekeeping).

Until this is fixed, the app is non-functional for me.
