New iPhones can’t use the app

Second update: servers were down and had no way of knowing. App is fully functional. And this is very fun
Update: according to the reviews it looks like this an ongoing issue with iOS. Another customer in January with iPhone 13 posted a similar issue. I have iPhone 12 and partner has iPhone 13, so we’ll need to return these.
Original review: After the set-up, I created a group but couldn’t add anyone to the group so re-installed the app and re-started my phone. I have since done this many many times to fix a new problem: this app is stuck in “initializing” mode. I can hear my music but the app won’t work, so I can’t take advantage of the fun features like the equalizer, creating a group, or finding friends on the map. Basically a giant square headphone at this point. :(

Buggy... and poor audio quality...

I purchased the Audio Chips and they’re the quality equivalent of a 20$ pair of headphones... they play music in your helmet that’s the only thing they deliver on their list of features... if your looking for an audio solution for on the mountain or hill that is incorporated into your helmet these will suffice. But if your looking for the bells and whistles that they are offering maybe consult your smartphone because they’ve probably already have all of these “features” Alecks promises and far more polished. So in short if you want a buggy experience with subpar audio quality that struggles to play low base notes... these are a 5 out of 5 on the craptastic scale!

A serious communication solution

I’ve been using the 006 and the app for iPhone for 1.5 months now. These things are far superior to my old OT chips.

I’ve switched to the Aleck setup from my AirPods due to the effortless ability to communicate with your chosen friends.

I can use the chat function, Siri on my phone, and also listen to music.

The only issue I’ve had, completely my fault, was that I disconnected my unit from the actual chat group. This allows you to still use Bluetooth to listen to music, but stops the two way radio connection. This is meant so you can turn off certain chat groups , but have others working. I made this mistake and was excited to realize what I had done. I simply went back into the chat group of choice and clicked the Bluetooth connection back on for that specific group.

I I highly recommend these and have no doubt that these will continue to improve!
