Ratings and Reviews
Great app, but could use a couple more features.
The app is really cool. One thing that I think should be added is the notifications. For example, <NWS Callsign> issues <weather alert> for <counties>, and so on.
Developer Response ,
We have instructions on our support page that tells you how to set that up. Unfortunately that feature is not going to be apart of the IEM Mobile App itself due to API cost along with development of said features. But we do have instructions on how to set that up at www.budgetproductionsllc.com! It will go through the steps on how to set up notifications for specific WFO's. Thanks for the feedback!
Awesome app after latest upgrade.
THANK YOU for bringing this app to the stellar standards it was before the implementation of ads.
Navigation is WONDERFUL and I can get a lot of information from various sources with one app, the perfect design and functionality of this app.
Thanks again for removing the intrusive ads and resurrecting this app to what it was, an amazing app leading to valuable weather resources not found in other weather apps.
Developer Response ,
We are working on getting most of the ads removed. You may not know this but app development is not free whatsoever. So in order to keep this app up we have to run ads. We are currently working on some solutions and some changes to the UI. This will include forward and back buttons to navigate around the Product Viewer more accessible. Be looking out for that in the next upcoming updates. Also it only shows ads when you click on the "IEM Mobile" button. Not any of the products within the IEM Mobile screen. -BC
Finally! A dev who listens!
The planets mist have aligned, because an app developer actually listened to their audience. We asked for annoying advertisements to be removed, so that potential hazards can be seen firsthand, and you (the dev) responded! This should not be as shocking as it is, but in 2018, nobody really listens to anybody anymore. I cannot thank you enough for actually listening to us customers.
Developer Response ,
I need to listen to my audience. You guys are what makes this app popular! Of course I had to. The only reason it took so long is when I made V3 it was coded in Xcode Beta so it had the iOS 12 support but Apple was not allowing anything iOS 12 on the App Store yet. So I had to halt releasing it. But all the ads are gone and are not coming back! So I hope you enjoy the app and stay tuned for future updates!
