AlexaAskRoger 4+

AlexaAskRoger is a companion app for the "Community Created Calendar" Alexa skill. This app is used to create a calendar for small businesses , educational institutions etc .
This calendar is used to answer the question like “Alexa ask global calendar Is walmart open today?”

There are 3 ways to add to the calendar.
1 ) Regular weekday schedule including weekend holidays can be added by “Add Regular schedule” button on main screen. Click “Add Regular Schedule” button on the main screen. This will bring up the Add Regular schedule screen. There are 7 buttons on the top of the screen depicting the day of week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday ). Click one of these buttons for example Monday. It’s color will turn red. Then choose whether the institution is open or closed on Monday by spinning the top spin wheel. If the institution is open on Monday, then select the start time by spinning the bottom left spin wheel. Select Monday’s closing time by spinning the bottom right spin wheel. Click the Tue button to select Tuesday. The button’s color will turn red. Repeat the process to select the open/close status and start and close time as done for Monday. Repeat this for all the days of the week. Add the name of institution and it’s address in the fields provided at the bottom half of screen. The name and city fields are used in Alexa’s interactive queries. Avoid special characters and numbers for these values. Easy to pronounce variations of name or cities can also be provided. IMPORTANT NOTE Regular schedule takes some time to add. Please be patient
2. Holidays like Christmas, New Year, summer vacation etc can be added by the “Add Holidays” button on main screen. Click “Add Holidays” button on the main screen. This will bring up the “Add Holidays” screen. Select the holiday start day by rotating the Start day spin wheel. Select the end day by spinning the End day spin wheel. If the holiday is for only one day for example Christmas, the start day and end day will be the same December 25. The name and city fields are used in Alexa’s interactive queries. Avoid special characters and numbers for these values. Easy to pronounce variations of name or cities can also be provided
1. When clicked Add Special Schedule button brings up the Add Special Schedule screen. This screen can be used to add days with special schedule. For example if Christmas Eve has reduced hours compared to a regular working day. This information can be captured by adding a special schedule using this screen. Select the special day by rotating the top spin wheel. Select the start time of special day by rotating the spin wheel on the bottom left. Select the end time of special by rotating the spin wheel at the bottom right
