Been looking for an app like this for a while, and after seeing it on TikTok, so I decided to download it. The user interface makes it very easy to use and it’s aesthetically pleasing. The issue I have with it is the investor spend more time making ads, then actually being active on other platforms. I attempted to research before actually investing and getting into the app. They have a Discord that they aren’t even active on and the TikTok account that they have for this is mainly just add to not actually how to use the app or tips or anything. It could be a very good app, but I feel like I’ve basically had to go into this blind, because there was no one you can actually ask for about information. even on their website, the most recent article was from forever ago. I’m not quick to judge the app, but I am quick to judge the creators and their lack of presence. i’ve tried to get people to start a conversation in the Discord so that I could have an understanding and so that others can have an understanding, but it seems the creators are just not there nor do they want to check it. I want to learn more, I want to earn more, but how can I know what do to without some guidance?

A Game-Changer!

I’m an 18 year old girl in college right now, and Alinea has empowered me to start investing and becoming more interested in learning about stocks and different companies. I grew up in a fairly conservative household where we never really talked about finances. While my dad works in finance and has his own stock portfolio, he never explained it to me, and would even sometimes talk about how risky it was and how I should never engage in it. I was worried, even as I wanted to start investing.

I came across Alinea on TikTok and after doing some research, I decided to start of with $10. I love the way that it is so easy to use the app and how I can see how the stock has changed over time, but my favorite part of the app is the news articles and instagram story type of overview of news. It can sometimes feel really overwhelming to read the financial news because of the level of information, but Alinea’s sentence-summaries are super intriguing, and it has helped me understand and want to learn more.

It has truly changed my life and given me power to invest and grow in a way that I never would have imagined.

For instance, having access to expert insights on which ETFs to invest in or highlighting hot stocks of the moment could greatly assist users in making informed investment decisions. Expanding the app's resource library with these additional features would undoubtedly provide even greater value to its users.
