After experiencing financial difficulties in my mid-30s, I turned to opiates as a way to cope with chronic depression. What started small eventually escalated to nearly 300mg per day. After many failed attempts to taper off on my own, I finally realized I needed professional help.I was extremely hesitant about starting Suboxone. I reduced my dosage only when I felt ready.Today, approximately two years later, I am completely opiate-free for 3 weeks, 4 days, 2 hours, and 20 minutes.
