Excellent User Friendly App

I have have been paying off my car to Ally for the last four years, and for some reason today I decided to check out the reviews of their app, just see what other people thought. I am honestly shocked by all of the bad reviews. I have auto pay set up, and I’ve never once had any issues. My payments are always taken out on the same day every month and the app always runs smoothly. I am able to change my automatic payment amounts and make one-time payments anytime I want, and I can even nickname my car. I am able to see current finance charges, previous year finance charges, balance left, etc. I’ve never had to call customer service or been late on a payment, so I can’t speak to the actual customer service or morality of the company, but the app is phenomenal.

Firstly, their customer service has been consistently disappointing and frustrating for many individuals. Customers often report long wait times, unhelpful representatives, and a lack of resolution to their issues. The poor customer service experience leaves individuals feeling undervalued and neglected, as their concerns and inquiries are not adequately addressed.

Furthermore, the Ally Auto Financial app has been widely criticized for its subpar performance and functionality. Many users have encountered numerous technical glitches, including frequent crashes, slow loading times, and difficulty navigating the app's features. These issues make it extremely inconvenient for customers to access and manage their accounts efficiently. The app's shortcomings not only hinder the user experience but also create additional stress and frustration for customers who rely on mobile banking for convenient financial management. Overall, the combination of substandard customer service and a poorly functioning app has resulted in an unsatisfactory experience for many Ally Auto Financial customers. I don’t usually do reviews but I’m happy after my 3 years being with this company to give them the 1 star they earned.

Good app needs work still not acknowledged/fixed

Change was made on my account and i am locked out of this app, im thinking its due to switching to "ally" and "ally auto".
Been having this ongoing issue for the 2 years ive been with ally auto that support cannot be reached, messages disappear, delete or are completely out of order between the last message and the first message sent 2 years ago. Reached out has never been fixed(in app messages, there is no external email support)is on my mobile, happens on my desktop also "We can't complete your request right now. Try again later, or contact us for help."
this gives a link and puts through a looped doing the same thing, leaving my only option to sit on the phone and wait for assistance, (obviously requires to do on open and available hours rather than the messages that they can get back to whenever).The app interface is generally pretty good and easy to maneuver but it is down every time i try to use it making that irrelevant. Support is a HUGE thing that needs to be maintained properly.
